MAGNT Meeting Saturday, March 10, 2007 10 AM to noon Unity South Church7950 First Ave. So. Bloomington, 55420
The Great Work and Your Great Work
Why am I on earth? Do I have a purpose? Am I here to do a “great work”? Do I matter or make a difference? What impact do I have on the evolution of the Universe?
On Saturday, March 10, we will explore, in our conversation with one another, applications of ideas from Thomas Berry – The Great Work – how it relates to us personally; how each of us makes a difference.
To offer something to think about prior to our gathering, here is a quotation that relates to Berry’s thought: “In reality there is a single integral community of the Earth that includes all its component members whether human or other-than-human. In this community each being has its own role to fulfill, its own dignity, its inner spontaneity. Every being has its own voice. Every being declares itself to the entire universe. Every being enters into communion with other beings. This capacity for relatedness, for presence to other beings, for spontaneity in action, is a capacity possessed by every mode of being throughout the entire universe."
This Saturday’s gathering will be facilitated by Paul Strickland from The Center for Religious Inquiry and William Schmidt a member of MAGNT.
Saturday MAGNT meetings are free and open to the public. No need to pre-register. Just come and be warmly included. MAGNT, the Minnesota chapter of the Association for Global New Thought, offers activities to expand consciousness. Its purpose is to inspire, inform and empower people to create an awakened world. MAGNT is supported by local Unity and Religious Science churches.
Come to learn, ask questions, engage in a spirited conversation with
the group, and, perhaps, make a declaration to the entire Universe! We look forward to seeing you: Saturday, February 10, 2007 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Unity South Church 7950 First Ave. So., Bloomington, MN 55420
Peace
and blessings to you,
